Often I am asked which apps I use to do produce the images I do using just an iPhone. I decided to collect some of the apps I go to most for my iPhone photography at this time and list them here with some comments on each.

"It’s a fast, beautiful and fun way to share your life with friends through a series of pictures," is how Burbn, Inc describes their free iOS app, Instagram.

Chiefly for the iPhone and the iPod touch (with camera), it can also be used on the iPad, just without the camera functionality, Instagram has really made an impact on how I and thousands of others take and share photos over the net.

For some time now I have been meaning to feature a new photograph a day on my website (one of them at least over the course of my 17 years on the net). I always thought it would be a good exercise. It would be an excuse each day to take some time and photograph something. Though like many plans, sometimes they stay bouncing in my head without them being realized.
